Welcome to the web site of the United Methodist Church of Libertyville. The ministry of the United Methodist Church is an inclusive one that celebrates the gifts of all ages, both sexes and persons from all ethnic, racial and economic groups in the work of sharing the Good News of God's love for the world through the Lord, Jesus the Christ.
Our ministry includes church school for children and adults concurrent with three worship services at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:15 (contemporary service) on Sunday mornings. We have traditional and contemporary worship styles. The church supports a large mission program, a well-trained staff for discipleship, music, education and youth, many musical opportunities for all ages and many special programs for children throughout the year.
The ministerial staff includes Rev. Jamison Geiger as senior pastor and Rev. James Bell as associate pastor. Our church is the oldest organized religious body (1836) in the County of Lake. We welcome your visit to our church.
