From October thru April each year, UMCL serves as a host site for PADS Lake County, providing food and emergency shelter for dozens of men, women, and children. Each Saturday night, volunteers prepare meals and provide a safe, warm place to sleep for those in need. There are many ways to contribute to this important ministry from food preparation, providing companionship, and washing linens.
